Richard Leech
Managing Partner
Richard Leech, Managing Partner, has dedicated the past ten years of his career to performance improvement work.
His early career with Ciba-Geigy and Novartis took him around the world in a range of roles as diverse as; management trainee, in sales and marketing, leader of strategy and strategic change and in general management. Following three years with Deustche Bank's then global investment banking brand Wood Mackenzie he reflected on the things that had really influenced him and set up a training consultancy business.
Over the years Richard has had the great fortune to work with some truly world leading companies, many of the Sunday Times top 100 as well as smaller privately owned companies and latterly very enlightened leaders in the public sector.
Brands he has worked with, that are well known, include Experian, Bunzl, Vodafone, O2, GAME, Pfizer, Novartis, Syngenta, Hyundai, Ford, Land Rover, Jaguar, Peugeot, Barclays, Deutsche Bank, BP, The Environment Agency and Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service. Other, less well known, but none the less fascinating, clients include Jagex, Cosworth, WhiteConcierge, Bauer Media and SolutionsPT.
Richard is an alumni of Henley Business School and now specialises in; strategy, transition/change management, leadership and management development, sales and commercial skills training, customer experience development, employee engagement, performance improvement.
David Palser, MBA
Senior Partner
David Palser, Senior Partner, has an infectious enthusiasm for helping individuals and organisations maximise their outcomes.
David started his career with Sir Clive Sinclair and stayed in electronics for many years. He moved through a range of sales roles, to Sales Director and eventually Managing Director of a pan-European supplier of electronic components to the military. When this business was sold to an American organisation he took stock of his career.
Following an offer from Manchester Business School, where he completed his MBA, he became Visiting Fellow guiding students through a range of thorny topics such as strategy, change and transformation management, finance and marketing.
In parallel to this Fellowship he co-founded Campus Business Development at the University and built this into a successful consultancy. Following several years working in interim MD roles, providing consultancy and working with some fascinating clients his business was absorbed by One Performance Outcome.
David specialises in helping clients transform their businesses through strategy, transformation management, process efficiency and people development. He has worked with brands as diverse as the NHS, Transport for London, Centrica, Lexus, Newsquest, Vita Group, Dow Chemical, BeCogent to name but a few.
James Leet
Managing Consultant
James spent his early career in the Royal Navy where he spent several years in technical roles both at sea and shore based. He has, since leaving the RN due to injury, remained in a leadership role as an officer in the Royal Naval Reserve.
James later pursued a career in sales management and held very senior positions in two top international organisations, Iscar Tools and Blaser Swisslube, leading and developing sales teams that supplied specialist engineering products to the manufacturing sector.
He has always had a real passion for developing people and has enjoyed a great deal of experience in delivering sustainable outcomes through positive engagement. His strengths lie in leadership, sales, communication and motivation.
James is one of those people who can deliver inspiring content in a gritty and actionable way. He led the launch of the Ford New Ranger and gained, from over 3,000 delegates, an average feedback score of 9.7 out of 10, something that has set a new precedent for Ford! One experienced seller claimed that Jim taught him more in 20 minutes than the previous five years of his career.
James's clients provide feedback that they love the way that he cleverly helps them to identify and use their own strengths to solve real world issues. He does this with his own unique blend of knowledge, humour and experience, using plain language in an empathetic way.
Howard Scott
Senior Consultant
Howard had a distinguished 25 year career in media and publishing, with nearly 15 years Board level experience, he has operated in MD, functional and non-executive director roles, usually within highly dynamic, multi-site and part-unionised environments.
He was managing director of Newsquest Media Group's Sussex division and most recently spent five years as managing director of Newsquest's South London, Surrey, Kent and Bucks division - comprising 25, market-leading newspapers, magazines and websites. Newsquest is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gannett Company Inc., one of the largest media businesses in the United States.
Howard has led many highly successful turnaround and change programmes, particularly related to structural change within fast-changing industries. He has an enviable reputation of inspiring individuals to exceptional performance.
He is passionate about the power of strategic clarity, the development of colleague cultures and the competitive edge achieved by true staff development and engagement. The role of personal and team coaching has been core to his business success over many years.
A regular speaker at conferences and seminars, Howard is a founding member of the Footdown leadership and coaching organisation and a member of the ParliamentaryDebating Group. He is also a member of the ILM (Institute of Leadership & Management) and holds a number of non-executive director positions with a variety of organisations.
Stewart Beamont

Stewart Beamont is an experienced and highly successful development professional with a great track record in both private and public sectors. He has 20 years of experience designing and applying professional development initiatives for individuals and teams.
As Director of Learning in one of the Big 4 professional services firms, Stewart transformed the learning function into a world-class team responsible for all learning programmes within the business, including talent development and assessment at the most senior level. He played a major role in developing the firm’s global programmes, and has advised and designed and delivered programmes in many countries.
As Head of Development at an award-winning local authority, Stewart set up a learning function which was genuinely aligned to the business of the Council. As a consequence he played a leading role in a range of initiatives which significantly improved the Council’s performance: in particular, in performance management, teambuilding, leadership development and quality assurance.
Stewart is passionate about helping businesses find and realise the real potential of their talented people. He has strong facilitation and learning design skills, working successfully with senior colleagues in a range of world class businesses. He is enthusiastic and committed, with strong values and goals around the link between people development and business outcomes.
Stewart is often called upon by clients to input into the development of leadership and talent strategy. He is an experienced team leader, performance manager and business coach, qualified and experienced in the use of a range of psychometric instruments (MBTI, 16PF, NEO, Hogan, LJI).
Margaret Zuppinger
Consultant
Margaret has over twenty years experience of delivering transformational management development and skills training. At the heart if many programmes sits a skills development project which Margaret uses to help managers change what they do andhow they do it.
Her experience covers a huge range of industries and companies, although she has a specialisation in gritty, industrial companies - the types of comapanies that make stuff, physical products in factories.
By contrast Margaret has an academic background with significant tutoring experience at Manchester BusinessSchool. Most recently she has been charged with developing the leadership team at SolutionsPT where she has made a significant contribution to howtheir managers achieve results.
Jo Howard

Jo Howard is an experienced strategist specialising in marketing and innovation, she has over 10 years UK Board level experience with a FTSE100 high growth Information organisation; twice winner of UK Business of the Year, where Jo was author and designer of divisional business strategies that at times led to annual growth rates in excess of 20% in mature markets.
Jo is a passionate individual and has a specialist interest in high calibre proposition design and user-centred innovation techniques, advanced customer service strategies and business culture transformation. She has delivered very successful combinations of these with radical improvement in business growth rates.
Headhunted by a major top four consultancy for her marketing, business planning and change management expertise, she has worked with major clients such as Shell, the European Economic Community, Home Office and other public sector agencies. As a consultant she has also assisted many financial services organisations and McDonalds with their UK growth strategy.
Jo has been an active member of the Cranfield University best practice ‘Return on Investment in Marketing’ think-tank, a member of the ICM, DMA and IDM and accredited DTi Marketing Consultant.
Lucy Durban

Lucy Durban is one of the UK's most experienced performance improvement consultants. Her experience brings an added dimension to our client work through her ability to clear a path through complexity, manage difficult things and get the results clients need.
Client work includes a vast range of retailers, business to business companies and various players in the public sector including hospitals and the NHS!

David Johnson

David Johnson is an experienced facilitator and trainer with twenty two years experience and a background in HR.
David's expertise includes management development, business improvement, performance management, sales, customer service development and team-building. He also designs business games, and plans and runs a wide variety of bespoke corporate events.
He has a capacity for hard work, a high degree of professionalism and an infectious enthusiasm for what he does. Tessa Reilly
Consultant
Tessa has a passion for helping businesses to deliver by improving their processes and is in her element when working with either teams or individuals.
She achieves this by creating a relaxed and fun environment where questioning, learning and problem solving are part of the day to day routine. In this environment individuals are mentored and supported by Tessa so that they can flourish and develop their new found skills which they can subsequently use in their day to day roles.
Tessa is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors and is a qualified chemist whose inquisitive nature and natural desire to solve problems has translated well into the business world.
She has extensive experience working with both FTSE 100 and 250 businesses, as well as owner managed businesses. Her experience includes manufacturing and service industries and spans both the private sector and private equity businesses. She works extensively in North America, Canada, Mexico, Asia, Australia and Europe.
